Frame: 37 3/8 x 32 1/4 inches. Canvas is relined. Visible inpainting to the subject's face and clothing. Examination under UV light shows many patches of restoration throughout the painting, including to the figure's clothing, face and the background. There is a smear of translucent white surface grime in the top left quadrant, in the background. Patterns of craquelure throughout. See attached images for further reference.
