The B.C. Holland Gallery was a prominent art gallery in Chicago, Illinois, founded in 1959 by Bud C. Holland and Noah Goldowsky as the Holland-Goldowsky Gallery. Initially, the gallery showcased works by Chicago artists, artists from the New York School, and modern furniture from 1890 to 1950.
In August 1961, Holland bought out his partner and renamed the gallery the B.C. Holland Gallery. Under Holland's leadership, the gallery became known for its exhibitions and sales of artwork by both local and international artists. Notably, it hosted Chicago artist Joan Mitchell's first solo exhibition.
The gallery operated until 1991, closing upon Holland's death. Throughout its existence, the B.C. Holland Gallery played a significant role in Chicago's art scene, contributing to the promotion and appreciation of modern and contemporary art.
