The chair is in excellent structural condition with a fine elaborate filigree-carved back which presents no losses. The chair retains its original gilt finish which displays considerable patina and oxidation as well and numerous nicks and minor losses commensurate with age. The original tapestry upholstery is intact but presents considerable sun-fade as well as sections which are fraying.

The physical condition of lots in our auctions can vary due to age, normal wear and tear, previous damage, and restoration/repair.
