The elaborate clock case separates into two components with the separation being at the widest point of the pedestal just above the central gilt bronze "grotesque" face. Both components are in excellent condition retaining all of their gilt bronze mounts and exotic veneers. The gilt bronze mounts and figural putti are in excellent highly polished condition retaining very little if any wear/flaws. The rosewood, palisander and exotic veneers retain a high-gloss finish which also displays very little if any wear. The glass clock face presents free of chips, cracks or visible repairs with the movement being untested. The movement does not appear to be weight driven as there are no weights present and the central door when open reveals a singular glass shelf with no pendulum. The clock is in overall very good, ready-to-place condition. Please see condition photos.
