Dr. Banks (1866-1945) was the American Consul to Baghdad in 1898, and the Field Director of the Babylonian Expedition from the University of Chicago between 1903 and 1905.
Inspected under UV light and 10x loupe. Scratches and losses typical of age. Burn marks and varying surface patina. Some loss to edges. Overall in fine and stable condition. See additional images.
