Nesbitt & Co., Printers, 1865. 39pp, 8vo. (scattered spotting and dampstaining, first 8pp completely detached from spine, toning). With paper cover bearing title "Reception of General Grant By Citizens of New York, November 20, 1865" which is inscribed to "N.P. Willis Esq." An exceptionally scarce imprint, Rare Book Hub indicates it last appeared at auction in 1870.  -- "Official Programme of the Grant Reception." Chicago, 12 November 1879. 4pp, 9 x 12 in. (toning, light soil, small tears at edgelines, creasing),  accompanied by printed insert of the toast and response given by Robert G. Ingersoll at The Grand Banquet at the Palmer House, Chicago, the following day. 

[With:] A group of 6 imprints associated with Grant's life, including memorials. -- "U.S. Grant Album" featuring 22 black and white panels, each approx. 5 1/4 x 4 1/4 in., showing the life of Grant. Ca 1886. 

[Also with:] A variety of ephemera such as ""General Grant's Grand March" sheet music, engravings of Grant, a typed letter signed by Grant's grandson Ulysses S. Grant III, and more.
