(Few spots, otherwise a very clear, crisp image with high contrast; unsealed.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (split at spine, surface wear). -- Sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of a young woman with her hair worn back and in curled strands, with a floral headband and a gold-highlighted brooch. The chest portion of her dressed is smocked and her sleeves featured fringed details. (Tarnishing to edges, few minor spots, no preserver; reglazed and resealed.) Housed in a leatherette case (surface wear, loss). -- Sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of a young woman with long hair worn in curled locks. (Tarnishing and some kind of drips of residue to plate, with a few surface scratches and other imperfections; resealed.) Housed in a Union case (soiling, nicking). -- And 34 others, including 24 sixth plate daguerreotypes, 3 quarter plate ambrotypes, one quarter plate tintype, 5 sixth plate ambrotypes, and one sixth plate tintype.
