Box beds are in structurally sound and in overall good presentation displaying an intentionally patinated finish. There is overall wear to the painted embellishments and some old cracks to the uprights with one bed retaining evidence of old insect activity. There is some discoloration to the chintz panels on the bed rails, probably from sunlight exposure. The beds come apart into two pieces and retain their original hardware/bolts.
