Both chairs have repairs, old cracks and splits and replacements and extensive old, inactive worming to the legs and bases. Armrests have old shallow holes, possibly where cushions were installed at some earlier point.
Chair A has a replaced oak seat, support rails and seat hinges. The top rail and boards of the back splat are in delicate condition with splits and breaks.
Chair B's back splat is partially detached on the right side and bottom. The right rail supporting the hinged seat also is partially detached.
