presents well overall, showing nice gilding- likely refreshed, and with some occasional areas of touch-ups to losses; with some minor occasional loss to gesso / gilding commensurate with age; the burl walnut veneer with some minor age cracks and couple patches and/or areas of fill; the mirror plate is beveled, and probably later, although does have age and shows nice patination including some losses and flecking or inclusions; appears to retain original backboard; back of left-facing ear possibly with repaired break, or a seam from manufacturing
