comprising a lotiform teapot, the cover in the form of a pod with six moveable seeds, the underside of the cover with two impressed marks; a lotus pod and nuts-form water dropper, the pod with moveable seeds, the exterior with various applied nuts and a caltrop, base with two impressed marks; a water chestnut; a walnut; an arrowroot shoot (last three unmarked).

Height of teapot 4 1/4 in., 10.8 cm.

Teapot was acquired on July 5, 1995; the dropper on November 5, 1993; the three nuts and roots on July 15, 2006.

Teapot encrusted and soiled, with chips to the interior flange of the pot, adhered paint to the underside of the foot; dropper moderately soiled, five seeds fixed in holes; under UV light restoration to tip of one caltrop "wing", otherwise no additional repairs or restorations seen overall. Minor flaw to end of arrowroot shoot; surface soiling to all.
