Appearing in overall fairly good, stable, and ready to place condition. Both cassolettes with repairs to the marble lids, one example with a repair and area of fill to the marble base. Gilt bronze is bright and attractive with scattered instances of verdigris. The clock with a crack through the proper left side of the base which is repaired and appears stable as well as one on the rear corner of the proper right side of the base. There is also a repaired crack through the marble urn finial on the proper left. Some of the decorative mounts on the clock, including the floral swags and figures, are possibly cast metal. The figure mounted to the base with dark discoloration. Rubbing to the gilt decoration and one swag loose, needing its nail replaced. The hands of the clock can be manually advanced and the bell strikes. Both chambers take a wind. The clock is untested for timekeeping duration or accuracy and has not been examined by an horologist. There is no pendulum or winding key. Additional images are available upon request.
