with considerable wear and patination to painted surface commensurate with age, with scattered areas of loss; missing the under tray; with general bending to metal throughout, including to seamed sheets along base, to rods, to rails, etc.; with several detached pieces, including two rails along top, one metal rail top along bottom gallery, bottom-most ladder, and semi-circle "paddle" along backside, many of these elements showing evidence of having been glued back in place; with several partially detached or fragile joins; top cone is missing hanging loop; left-facing cage door missing its original door face, but with tin sheet replacement that has been soldered on to spring hinge, now hanging off somewhat crookedly
