Minor surface dirt; light uneven toning to sheet; multiple pinholes to margin, process-related; appears to be attached with adhesive to backing board in two places at upper corners of sheet verso; slight soft creasing at upper corners, due to mounting; appears to be in otherwise good condition. Catalogue Note Regarding this edition: Stephen Coppel states: 'Only impressions numbered 1/60 to 8/60, plus 3 TP/EPs, were made before the blocks were melted in 1947. In August 1981, Andrews re-cut the blocks and impressions taken from these were numbered to follow the original sequence.' The later impressions are printed in reverse.
