The canvas is lined and affixed to a new stretcher. The paint surface is quite thin, leaving the ground visible in some areas. Very fine, flat craquelure throughout. Under UV light: a large area of inpainting in the sky at upper left quadrant. Smaller areas of inpainting on the figures in the lower half.
