Sturdy condition. Probably refinished in the early 20th century with an even medium brown color. The finials and finial blocks are replacements. The bracket feet are probably replacements as it would have probably originally had bun feet. The mirror plates are significantly old; unsure if original. The beveling appears hand-worked. There are small sections of cloudiness at the bottoms. The upper section retains its original fitted interior. There is a missing section of molding from the top of one of the upper sections drawers. The tooled leather of the writing surface is probably 19th century. The interior fittings are all intact and function well. Negligible age cracks in the writing surface. Brasses appear to be original, locks might be replacements. A small section of missing veneer from the base. Additional images are available upon request.
