Fine. Blade retains some original polish and much of the frosty etching with scattered oxidation and discoloration present and some loss due to fading and wear. Hilt with much of the gilt present, with areas of thinning and loss as well. Grip with some light handling marks. Scabbard very good, and fairly solid, although there are a couple of creases and weak spots immediately above the drag as well as 3"-4" above it. Leather also shows some crazing and finish flaking. Scabbard mounts with much of the gilt remaining. Sword knot with moderate wear and showing some fraying to the bullion.
