Blued metal finish mounted in walnut straight wrist stock with full length handguard featuring checkering to the forend, and adjustable rear notch with front blade sights. Bolt action internal tube magazine fed repeating rifle with octagonal to round barrel, and spur to triggerguard. Left receiver is marked SOC. IND. SUISSE/{Swiss Cross}/SYST. VETTERLIN. Item shows Swiss initialed inspection stamps to all parts with EL initials to the left receiver. Inspection stamps to the comb and right butt are still visible. Comes with a cleaning rod and a leather sling. Comes with blued cruciform spike bayonet displaying serial number 1548, and a Swiss P inspection mark.
