1.) Good. Blade is a Deep Brown patina overall with some pitting near the tip, and surface roughness at mid blade. Edge has some small bites near tip. Hilt is a deep patina overall with some scratches and nicks. Wire binding to the grips has grown loose and the shagreen is stained.

2.) Good. Blade is a mottled gray to brown patina with some bites near the tip and some spots of pitting. Hilt shows some flaking and loss of the painted finish over the grip, and scratches and mars overall. Rust forming to tang. Scabbard displays patched flaking to the nickel finish with rust forming in losses.
