Blued metal finish with polished bolt set in a straight wrist walnut stock and featuring the sleeved barrel along with adjustable ladder rear notch and front blade sights. Bolt-action internal magazine fed repeating rifle modified for stripper clip charging with cutout to left receiver and clip guides. Receiver is marked S/LOEWE BERLIN/1890 on top with left displaying a partial model mark reading GEW. 88. Serial numbers are mixed. Left receiver struck with importer marking 8MM TURKEY. Item shows Imperial German {Crown/Gothic Letter} inspection markings scattered overall with German unit markings on the receiver and forward barrel. Comes with a leather sling.
