**Czech VZ 98/22 Rifle Turkish Export

World War II

7.92x57mm. 29.1" barrel length. SN: C8437. Blued metal finish with polished bolt set in a walnut semi-pistol grip stock with stock disassembly disc and half-length upper handguard. Bolt-action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with stripper clips and mounting adjustable leaf rear notch and front blade sights. Receiver is marked CS.ST./ZBROJOVKA/BRNO with the left side additionally showing the E{Czech Lion}23 marking indicating the rifle was once the property of the Czech military. The rear sight range markings have been replaced with Turkish numerals with the Turkish {Crescent} stamp appearing on top of the leaf. Serial numbers do not match. Item is import marked on the barrel.
