.30-40 Krag. 30" barrel length. SN: 13679. Blued metal finish with case hardened receiver. Walnut stock has a plain straight grip and forearm, with grasping grooves and handguard. Bolt action rifle with M1896 adjustable folding ladder notch rear sight and pinned blade front sight. Item features an integrated magazine, triple stacking swivels, a bayonet lug forend, and trapdoor buttplate void of contents. Markings include U.S./1894 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 13679 to receiver. Stock is marked with a boxed JSA/1895 Joseph S. Adams inspector cartouche on left side, circle P proof to bottom of grip, and H/38 to comb.

Good to very good. Bore is frosty, with some light pitting and scratching to rifling. Finish has light thinning to bluing, with scattered light scratches and some sprinkled pit marks. Case hardened finish shows some very faint remnants on receiver. Wood stock has scattered scratches and mars overall.
