Short recoil operated DA/SA autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Left slide is struck with the P.38 model marking followed by cyq manufacturer code indicating it was made by Spreewerk. Item further features the {Eagle/88} Waffenamt marking in two places on the right slide, on the left frame, left barrel, and the right side of the locking lug. {WWII German Eagle} stamp appears on the right slide, left barrel, and left locking lug. Right side of the barrel has been struck Bi followed by {Star} stamp. Item displays matching serial numbers.
