Side by side double barrel boxlock extractor shotgun with sideplates and twin bead sights. Sideplates show the maker marking LEFEVER ARMS CO. within a banner and surrounded by light border scroll. Triggerplate exhibits a two line patent information marking and reads Patented 1872/80 85 86 87. G grade markings struck into the watertables and into the barrels near the serial number. Shotgun mounts Lefever Arms Co monogram hardrubber buttplate and hardrubber pistol grip cap. Serial numbers match on the barrels, watertables, and forend, but the triggerguard serial number does not match.
