Left slide shows standard P5 marking followed by maker mark reading Carl Walther/Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do. German firing proofs are struck into the major components. Importer marking to the forward frame reads PW ARMS REDM. WA. Right slide is marked with date code 11/83. Left slide is marked with a struck BMI marking for Bundesministerium des Innern, the Federal Ministry of Interior of West Germany, indicating it was issued to West German Police.
