.32 S&W Long. 4" barrel length. SN: 140826. Blued metal finish with polished hammer flanks mounting COLT marked checkered hardrubber grips. Double action hand ejector six-shot revolver featuring topstrap notch and half-moon front blade sights. Left sideplate struck with {Rampant Colt} logo while the left barrel is marked POLICE/POSITIVE. 32 POLICE CTG. Top of the barrel is stamped with the two-line address and patent mark reading COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A./PAT'D AUG. 5. 1884. JUNE 5. 1900 JULY 4. 1905. Item comes with a collapsed cardboard box featuring Colt model information marking to the lid and in the base. Blue paper end label remains legible.
