Lot of 2. British, 20th century. Each upholstered in blue velvet with gold braid trim to seat, on oak chamfered legs and underside with maker's mark ("Glenister / Maker / Wycombe / 53") and branded Royal cypher ("ER / Coronation"), wd. 18, dp. 12.25, ht. 18.75 in. Originally used by royal pages at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II (b. 1926) at Westminster Abbey, London on June 2, 1953.
