Tarbell, Ida Minerva. The Life of Abraham Lincoln Drawn From Original Sources. New York, NY: The Doubleday & McClure Co., 1900. Two Volumes. 8vo, blue cloth, Vol. 1, 426pp, Vol. 2, 475pp. The very rare Limited Special Illustrators' Edition of 75 copies (sets) of which this is #67, printed in May 1900. (Monaghan #1309) Each volume is individually wrapped in cloth folding case and housed in an early handmade slipcase with a beautiful black leather gold tooled label. A handsome set.
The volumes themselves have some reinforced backing to them but very solid with original end sheets and some wear to the original boards.
