Lot of 2 CDVs of Abraham Lincoln published by E. & H.T. Anthony from Mathew Brady negatives. Brady originally captured both images at a sitting in his studio on January 8, 1864. In one portrait, Lincoln appears seated with his hands resting on the arms of a chair [O-84], while he stands in the second, with his left arm folded behind his back [O-86].
Wear to edge/corners, toning and light surface soil. Standing portrait with cropped upper corners of both mount and photograph.
