Under UV -the portrait selectively cleaned- traces of old varnish fluoresce in background,  scattered minor retouch to face, lace headpiece, dress, and hands, areas of crazing across lower third of canvas.  

The physical condition of lots in our auctions can vary due to age, normal wear and tear, previous damage, and restoration/repair.
