The unlined canvas in overall very good condition. With evidence of canvas contractions (craquelure), all stabilized and relatively flat in some areas of the canvas (see in the sky at upper right, as well as in the snow center, and center left). Those craquelure are due to the canvas itself, and are stable. Examination under UV light reveals a small repair to the left of the signature at bottom right (with associated patch verso). Minor, localized, inpainting along the bottom outer edge at bottom left and along the right outer edge at center right (due to frame rubbing, very meticulous). Pinpoint inpainting also visible on the top of the mountains at center. See Specialist's pictures for more details.
