The surface crizzling, together with the European form, suggest the present pair of vases may have been made in China during the first half of the 18th century under European influence.

Good visual condition to both, scattered abrasions and surface soiling, soiling to interiors; scattered scratches, tiny fleabites; one slightly taller than the other, one with polished underside of foot, small drip of glass at shoulder tiny fleabite to edge of rim; other vase with crizzling to body, rocks slighly on foot
