Both figure detached from base, the left side back plate detached and shrunk across grain, cracks to back of stand, wear to gilt, scattered abrasions, extensive flaking and loss to lacquer, old glue residue to top of seats, possibly lacking further base, male lacking object from hand, female lacking belt buckle.
