Illustrated with color frontispiece and 56 numbered black and white or color plates, after drawings by Covarrubias. Publisher's quarter black cloth over blue cloth-covered boards, stamped in gilt, corners and extremities rubbed, spine ends lightly worn, boards lightly and unevenly darkened; top edge gilt; text block slipping; front and rear hinges lightly worn; light smudging to original drawing; scattered very light soiling to text and plates; slip case wanting.
