Albany, January 4, 1814. One sheet folded to make four pages, 10 x 8 in. (254 x 203 mm). One-page autograph letter, signed with initials by Aaron Burr to attorney Gurdon W. Lathrop of New York regarding legal matters; addressed by Burr on verso of integral leaf. Creasing from original folds; silked; repairs in top and bottom corner of first leaf, affecting text; repair on second leaf from when opened; scattered soiling along folds.
