The Derby Summer House, also called McIntire Tea-House, was designed by Samuel McIntire in 1793 for Elias Hasket Derby's property.

lot 74: made in three parts that stack- roof removes, and second level technically removes from first level; overall in nice condition, with only some minor occasional scuffs or finger smudges to exterior; a small area of loss to lower molding of one pilaster to second level; some probably minor areas of retouching to white paint to exterior; the one figure to roof previously broken at feet and previously re-glued, the glue coming undone and the figure presently detached from roof; one door to interior is presently detached from glue attachment, and another door is slightly loose from door attachment; the second level bannister, with spindles, is somewhat loose, one spindle missing; one paper plate to interior of cupboards on second level has fallen out of place; accompanied by separate metal oscillating ring so the model can be easily turned while being displayed on plinth, the plinth with some minor areas of wear including finger smudging
