Collect: Americana

lot 68: unexamined out of frames, most (if not all) have been subject to professional conservation (please ask for three available conservation reports, which detail what was conducted); two women and cat: nice overall, with mildly toned surface to paper, but even throughout, a couple very minor specks of foxing, but generally very clean, with period frame and backboard retaining original label (backboard with age crack), has been professionally matted and framed behind framer's acrylic sheet; man with hat standing on veranda: the upper left corner with an area of white washed touch-up over a tear or crease to paper, otherwise the paper with some general toning commensurate with age, and some occasional flecks of foxing to background, the frame is period, retains backboard with original label, matted; man with hat in interior room: the background appears to be enhanced with yellow, which stops at border of work, with some light spots of foxing to upper center and near fireplace, professionally encased and framed behind framer's acrylic sheet; group of three: the background with some moderate toning, some areas of scratching and some subtle water stains evident, and some surface abrasions / losses that have been touched up, has been professionally encased and matted, retaining the old label identifying sitters verso, also with Elizabeth L. Maurier Collection label (which may be dubious); couple: general toning to background commensurate with age, area of water staining to upper right corner, an area of surface discoloration above man's hand, the hand and sleeve were cut separately from body or was cut / torn and re-glued,  and some subtle areas of white discoloration to man's jacket and legs, with some very minor scattered flecks of foxing, professionally encased and matted, period frame
