lot 61: mounted to Masonite / fiberboard, using original stretcher; with selective cracquelure commensure with age; general green fluorescence under UV light, with evidence of varnish that is streaky in some places; some scratches to upper right corner and upper center, including a few to hairline; a possible vertical repair to left of face; some occasional areas of retouching; frame is period, with evidence of some repaired breaks and occasional losses to gesso elements, and apparently re-gilded
