lot 105: retaining nice old painted surface, with evidence of a couple campaigns of pain (red underneath); some minor scuffing and scrapes to seat, particularly to front, and to legs / feet commensurate with age and use; the arm-rests exhibit some rubbing; the back edge of seat with repaired / replaced segment, possibly over previous break, now mostly obscured by paint surface; some occasional age cracks; front right-facing stretcher and leg attachment slightly loose; old gauge or surface recession to interior of front center leg- stable and mostly obscured by paint; inscribed to underside of seat in pencil, “C.P. Flagg/ bought of Bixly Dana/ Oct. 1905.”
