lot 47: the legs and stretchers showing expected signs of patina and wear commensurate with age, including some occasional scuffing and edge abrasions, some minor old losses along edges; back left and right legs with repaired breaks or splits; the center stretcher bar with a couple age cracks; frame is sturdy overall, with later spring seat; nicely upholstered in silk, showing some expected signs of wear commensurate with use, including light wear to cording along frame, the cushion is down-filled, and shows some considerable wear to upholstery center front cording, and one significant tear along front revealing cushion; water staining to the bottoms of a couple feet; the frame under upholstery has not been inspected; accession number painted to one leg and one stretcher; the black dust cover to underside has disintegrated and the majority has been removed, revealing silk ends, the dust cover would need to be replaced to conceal silk threads, etc.; one fastener for seat cushion missing clip attachments
