Moore (1873-1891), the two tablespoons engraved with monogram, “MAMC,” and tree teaspoons engraved with monogram, “ML”; an oyster server and marrow scoop in the “Indian Chrysanthemum” pattern, circa 1880, bearing “M” mark for Edward C. Moore (1873-1891); an orange spoon and pickle knife in the “Holly” pattern, bearing “M” mark for Edward C. Moore (1873-1891), the spoon engraved with monogram, “AGPO”; eight oyster forks in the “Shell” pattern, bearing “M” mark for Edward C. Moore (1873-1891); three fruit or dessert knives in the “Medallion” pattern, patented 1864, engraved with monogram, “EOC,” marked; a unique individual butter knife with “poppy” design, marked; a gilt-washed in the “Olympian” pattern, circa 1880, bearing “M” mark for Edward C. Moore (1873-1891), with monogram to underside; a fruit knife in the “Custom Engraved” pattern, engraved, “Connor Lawrence,” marked; a mixed metal hammered fruit knife, bearing monogram, to underside, marked; an hors d'oeuvre fork with floral motifs, with monogram to handle end, marked; a crumber in the “King” pattern, circa 1880s, bearing “M” mark for Edward C. Moore (1873-1891); and two rare mixed metal (mokume) ice cream spoons of unique form, marked “243” and “242,” respectively, the larger one with gilt-washed bowl and evidence of faint monogram.

lot 147: hors d'oeuvre fork: has tiny monogram to tip of handle, mild rubbing to surface, particularly to end of handle, one tine is slightly bent; tiny lap over edge seafood knife: tip of blade is somewhat bent; poppy butter knife: general rubbing to surface including hallmark; custom engraved knife: blade with a few dings and dents along edge, and a couple spots of oxidation to tip of blade, the blade slightly bent, some rubbing to engraved name; Olympian gold washed knife: has monogram which matches monogram on mixed metal knife (bull head over “W” or “M”), general loss and tarnishing to gold wash, some scratching to blade and general rubbing to handle, minor dings; mixed metal knife: has matching monogram to Olympian knife, very slight bend to blade tip, light rubbing and wear, the blade with a couple pocks along blade edge; three Medallion knives: with monograms, considerable rubbing and wear to surface details and hallmarks, one with slight bend to blade tip; Holly knife and spoon: minor rubbing and wear to blade and bowl: spoon with monogram; larger mokume spoon: loss to gold wash to bowl, and rubbing / loss to underside, evidence of monogram on top of handle, which has been lost, rubbed, or mostly obscured (indistinct), possibly with additional loss to some of the inlay around monogram area; smaller mokume spoon: some visible losses to inlay to underside of handle, the voids felt with touch; lap over edge teaspoons: some with more heavy / considerable rubbing to surface details than others, some minor scratching / wear to bowls; lap over edge serving spoons: with monograms, a few flecks of persistent tarnish / oxidation to back of bowls, minor rubbing; Chrysanthemum oyster server: light scratching to bowl, minor wear; crumber: some flecks and areas of persistent tarnish, particularly to blade, some streaks of surface transfer from some sort of wrapping material; oyster forks: in overall good condition, with minor wear commensurate with age
