The unlined canvas in overall very good condition without any sign of restoration as seen under UV light. Strangely, a thin band of canvas is vertically placed on the reverse of the canvas, from top to bottom along the right outer edge of the work verso. Its tops is glued down, but it does not correspond to any visible repair or inpainting recto, which makes its presence odd and inexplicable. See Specialist's pictures for more details.
