The relined canvas in overall good condition. The canvas itself is very thick. A few dots of abrasions along the top outer edge of the canvas (non obtrusive). Examination under UV light reveals scattered restoration in the bottom left corner, around the signature (which remains in tact). We also notice fluorescing areas in the sky along the horizon line: those are due to the pigments used by the artist, and not a result of any restoration. We also note remnants of old greenish varnish (glowing inconsistently) in the green parts of the canvas. See Specialist's pictures for more details.
