Gorey, Edward
Dracula
(New York: Johnray Publishing & Distributing Corp, ca. 1977.) Printed program for the original production of Dracula, starring Frank Langella, with scenery and costumes designed by Gorey. Thin 4to. Unpaginated. Signed by Langella and Gorey on title-page. Illustrated wrappers, rear wrapper very lightly soiled. Not in Toledano.
Edward Gorey made a substantial impact on the theater world with his designs for the 1977 Broadway production of Dracula. He would go on to receive a Tony Award for Best Costume Design, and a nomination for Best Scenic Design.
