One-page autograph letter, signed by future 14th president of the United States, Franklin Pierce, as a United States Senator from New Hampshire, to a Mr. Dickey: "Dear Sir, I inclose herewith the certificate of Mrs. Gould which is the last of them committed to my case--Have you not other cases which will be forth coming--Where is Mrs Sheds claim? Do you not intend to make an offer for her--The weather here is as cold as Greenland & has been for these days--Give my love to my dear father--I intend to write him this Evening of his birth day--I wish you & Mrs Dickey a merry Christmas--Yr friend Fr.
