includes two weights, pendulum, case key, and winding key; nice overall condition; the surface to the case and hood likely refinished, but nice consistent surface throughout; the hood with carved fret having slightly darker surface finish than the rest of the case- possibly a sign of being replaced, but skillfully carved; the left-facing column on the hood slightly loose- missing a brad nail; the upper lip to interior of case door stamped twice with die stamp “S.I”, which appears to be the cabinetmaker or journeyman who made the case; the interior of case door faintly inscribed with old testing / restoration notes from the 1930s; brass finials appear to be originals; enamel face and dial nicely decorated, with cracquelure commensurate with age, with some occasional touch-ups; as with all mechanical objects, Freeman’s does not guarantee functionality for clocks
