The relined canvas in overall good condition, with remnants of old upper stretcher bar marks running along the top tier of the canvas. Examination under UV light reveals localized, and relatively minor, inpainting along the aforementioned stretcher bar marks. With more sporadic inpainting at upper left corner, in between the trees. The rest of the composition otherwise appears untouched. Minor surface soiling, mixed in with old varnish and craquelure at bottom right quadrant in the snow.
