Exhibition
"Hommage á Picasso: Donald Baechler, et al.," Forum Internationale, Kunstmesse, Zurich, November 22-27, 1984, exh. cat., illus.
Note
This drawing originally accompanied a painting by Hervé Di Rosa that was part of a project entitled Homage À Picasso. Paintings and accompanying drawings were created by Donald Baechler, David Bowes, Ronnie Cutrone, Brett de Palma, Keith Haring, Futura 2000, Kenny Scharf and Di Rosa in 1984 as part of the project. Gallerist Tony Shafrazi wrote for the Forum Internationale exhibition catalogue, in which the series was featured: "That [Picasso] was a young brilliant star before he was a giant or Father to modern art, is worth remembering. From the alarming twists and distortions of his images to exquisitely personal desires, even social rage, his art and life were truly signs of positive adventure."
