Note
First introduced by Louis Vuitton in 1910, these miniature "Malle Fleurs" trunks were given by the company as gifts to its best clients. Modeled on the company's cabin trunks, they feature all the expected elements of their full-size counterparts, including the company's signature brass trim, lock, and latches. These cases arrived at recipients' doors filled with either fresh flowers or plants in a zinc liner, with the intention that their owners would then outfit the interiors to suit their needs (as jewelry boxes, sewing boxes, or the like).
