First and limited edition, #161/250 numbered copies, signed by Rackham, and with an original pen and ink illustration of Rip Van Winkle, dated June 1933, on Colophon. 4to. viii, (60) pp. Illustrated with color frontispiece and 49 color plates (one double-page), all mounted and all with captioned tissue guards. Publisher's deluxe full vellum, decorated in gilt, bowed; top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed; endpapers foxed; yellow silk ties present; previous owner's book-plate on front pastedown; in marbled paper-covered slip case. A fine copy of Washington Irving's classic, with an original illustration of the main character.
